The Biggest Loser that is!
At church yesterday a bunch of people got together and weighed in. I was really stoked because I haven't stepped on a scale since right after the Holiday and I didn't tell anyone how much I weighed but mentioned I had gained about 4lbs.
So I am all excited, right. I get in the room where the scale was and I feel all this anxiety like I usually do right before I step on a scale because I'm afraid it will read like "215" lbs or some crazy number that throws me WAY back. I kick of my boots and step on. I look down and what do I see?
191.5lbs!!
That little scale doesn't know it, but at that moment it became my Best of best Friends!
"B", the guy taking my weight says, "I wont look if you don't want me to. You can even write it down if you want."I smiled and said, "Oh No! I can tell you because for me this is GOOD!"
I can't remember when I weighed this much. I know it may still seem a lot to you skinny people who are rolling your eyes saying, "I would never eat again if I weighed that, you heffer!"
But this is a break through for me, and let me tell you..I am stoked!
These photos aren't that great because I (obviously) took them with my iPhone myself, but here ya go..
This is just the motivational boost I need, and with a $10 dollar price tag on being a part of Biggest loser and about 20 people being involved..you could say I am hoping at the end of 10 weeks I get some cash!
I added a progress ticker at the top of my page. It used to be at the bottom but now I am so excited I added it to the top.

Well done! You must be so pleased, it's just the motivation you need to keep going! Good luck with the rest, I'm sure you can do it.

I can assure you ... I would again sell ... give away ... cut out some part of my body to weigh below 200 lbs ...

Yay, you're off to a great start! I did a Biggest Loser contest last year, and it was SO much fun!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for everyone to do it together-and winning a little green at the end wouldn't hurt either.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
That is so great. I am starting to day...tracking, excercising, and focusing on keeping my stress down.
ReplyDeleteMy husband came up with the idea yesterday to have my 7 yr old run with me (because he doesn't want to) and to teach me some of her karate moves. I swear that girl is never still.
That's pretty cool!!! You look great! I started at 198 and my goal is 60. Ou know I been wanting to add like a weight thingy on my blog. I'll grab one of those! Thanks! =P
