I honestly am fat. But I'm not "just" fat. I recently became a Mom. I didn't get fat because I am a Mom. No, I can assure you I was over weight before I got pregnant. It's been a life long struggle. My love for food has over come my love to be able to fit in one of those Tiny seats at Theme parks on my Favorite roller coaster rides. I can fit, sort of. It's almost like being squeezed into a size 14 jeans when you're a size 20. You keep jumping up and down hoping they will slide over your hips..but..it never happens. You throw yourself on your bed, Defeated. Breathing heavy and sweaty from the work out. That's how the Roller coaster attendants feel. I am totally kidding..sort of.
Are you a fat mom? Just fat? I tell you, there is light at the end of the tunnel! So far I have lost 14lbs. When I make it to 20lbs I plan to buy myself something nice. Maybe a skirt to wear to church or something. It's not easy. I believe with all my heart I have an evil love affair with Food. To this day it still calls me. I have been doing this since October. I reluctantly got thrown from the Wagon and had to chase it down the road to get back on. I got there defeated, yet again. And it took me awhile to catch my breath and start back up again.
Little goals are Key to acheive the big one.
Here are a few posts I would like to share with you:

ReplyDeleteAshlee, I really like soup. I mean, I really like soup. It's one of the only things I eat. You know my dilemma about eating the whole can and how these 100 calorie soups will solve that problem.
ReplyDeleteAnd I follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love soup...I've been on this soup cook for about a month now! Probably because the weather is so cold and I can't seem to shake the nasty cold my kids gave me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing about your journey with weight...I have food issues that mainly stem from my mother being so controlling about every morsel that I put in my mouth. I think I've gotten a handle on it mostly but there are still times I fall back on old habits.
I'm your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteI follow!
ReplyDeleteI'm really intrigued by a mug that hold an entire can of soup...
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy soup and should really start bringing cans to work instead of eating out. I am horrible at jumping rope, it's laughable really but perhaps a new jump rope would inspire me to learn/try.
Came over from SFTC to check out your blog...honest and sassy, I like it!
ReplyDeleteFat mom here! I'm trying to lose weight too, and unlike you I DID try to use the baby thing as an excuse...but I had a three pound baby so that really didn't wash. Good luck with your weight loss!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your day and your weight loss!
ReplyDeleteI am you #1 fan as of right now! :)
ReplyDeleteI too am a fat mom and plan on changing my life after reading a book titled Obesity Free Forever by author Georgene Collins. This is my permanant solution. It`s not a diet you do for a month and quit...it`s a life long deal I made with myself. This book showed me why my diet failed me in the past and how to avoid this in the future.
Anyways, had to share. I wish you continued success on your weight loss and I will check back soon :)
On the days I'm home I usually have soup for lunch. It's easy to prepare and if it is from a can I know the calories I'm getting. (I'm lazy and don't like to look things up.)
